Monterey Peninsula
Besides the natural beauty of the Monterey Peninsula, the surrounding community contains numerous recreational opportunities ranging from the Monterey Bay Aquarium (a must do) to a round of golf at numerous world class golf courses. A walk along the cliffs at Pt. Lobos State park watching the sea otters frolic in the bay below is something to remember forever. The meeting precedes Memorial Day weekend so that after the meeting, one can drive along the coast and visit Pfiffer-Big Sur area (also a must do) or San Francisco and Wine Country.
Save these dates and check this web site periodically to see the updated program. For more information on the meeting site please go to www.visitasilomar.com. For more information about the registration you should contact the AAVPT secretary, Dr. Joe Gloyd. We will be sending out the symposium registration form and conference lodging form in the next few days to all our members. If you do not receive yours, contact Joe and he can either fax or email copies to you. Any questions about the program please contact either Dr. Richard Vulliet or Dr. Jane Owens or any one on the program committee.
